When we first shared that God was moving us to Ireland you should have heard the comments. "Oh what a beautiful place to live." They'd speak of the wonderful shades of green. They'd reference some family history that tied them to that precious isle.
Yet is that the best place to be? Don't get me wrong Ireland is truly a beautiful country and we haven't even begun to talk about the wonderful people. Yet again, is that the best place to be?
It was just a few days ago I found myself walking the streets of Disneyland. I took a ride on the Jungle Cruise. I joined my niece riding Dumbo into the night sky. Is that the best place to be? I mean you know what they say about Disneyland? "It's the happiest place on earth"
I read this morning the following line by Dennis Kinlaw: "No days are wasted when we are in God's will. All things serve his purpose."
Where do you find yourself this day? It may not be on the I-5 or in Disneyland. It may not even be in Ireland... but the center of HIS will is the best place to be.
It's where I long to live and it's why we're heading to Ireland.
Perhaps Ireland is the very best place to be!
