We put our house on the market and less than a week later we have an offer which we have accepted.  PTL!  Once again God is doing miracles in our lives.

I keep going back to Isaiah 49:11 and the thought that God will make our mountains into roads. Over the course of the past year we've faced some obstacles that I thought could NEVER be overcome and in each place God has helped us.  Surprise!

This all leads me to a question... why are we always surprised by God's work and action in our lives?

This morning as we gathered at the cross in the morning twilight I was reminded again that our God conquered death and the grave.  I'd guess those ladies who came to the tomb found themselves surprised too!

Perhaps the reason we find ourselves surprised stems from something we forget; our God is incredibly creative.  There are no dead ends... remember even tombs can't hold Him.  My problem is I figure the only way for God to work in my life is within my creativity(or should I say lack of it).

Do you remember these words?  "Our God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Eph 3:20-21  I just love how they remind us that our God is able to work in ways we can't even imagine.  It's amazing!  There I am again!  Surprised!

I'm thinking I need to remember all this... and I'm wondering if you might also need to remember that for our God there are no dead-ends, no impossibilities.  In other words, you can get to where God wants you to be from where you are, right now!

How?  I have no idea.... I just know this... it could surprise you!
